Some Ideas For Travelers!

If you are a novice traveler, some tips on where to begin would be helpful. The following tips will help you plan the best trip possible and make solid travel decisions. You have to plan and make sure you enjoy yourself, so it is beneficial to learn and apply the tips below.

Make sure you leave extra valuables at home. The more you take with you, the higher your chances of losing the items. Even worse, they could be stolen.

When traveling by air it is important you have a plan. Since major airports are usually in big cities, getting there might take forever when you get caught in heavy traffic congestion. Pack your suitcase the night before. Don’t wait until the last minute to prepare for your flight. Missing a flight is a horrible experience that you never want to go through.

When flying on a plane, you should plan ahead because an airline won’t always be able to meet your basic needs, even when the flight lasts for many hours. Bring your own pillow, blanket and headphones if you think you will need them. You should also plan to bring a few airline approved snacks along in case the airline meals are a flop.

If you are on a short or long flight, don’t expect the airline to supply your essentials. Make sure you bring along a blanket, pillow and if you will use them, headphones. You may also want to pack along a few snacks so you can have something substantial to eat during your flight.

If you are going to vacation at a National Park you should get a National Park season pass. The cost is only 50 dollars and good for admission to all national parks for the one year time frame.

You should buy a National Park season pass if you visit them often. It’s only $50 annually, and it covers your entry to all the national parks.

You need to wear comfortable shoes when you take an airplane; it’s preferable if you are able to slip your feet out of them easily. You will have to remove them for security checks. Comfort over style is paramount when traveling. You do not need particularly supportive shoes as you will be spending most of your time sitting. Sandals and flip-flops are best for traveling.

Weather can be a huge factor in your travel plans. Check the local weather forecast for your destination before traveling. Nothing ruins a trip faster than going to a freezing cold beach or ending up at a sweltering hot ski slope.

When traveling internationally, use bottled water. Unfortunately drinking water in most countries will cause you to get sick because it is not purified. Even when you brush your teeth, do it with bottled water. Avoid putting the local water in your mouth at all.

As previously stated, most people find themselves in the position to travel at some point or other. By keeping good information in mind, you will be able to deal with whatever travel experience you have. The information provided here will be very useful when you travel.

Will be taking the train from Mumbai to Surat then bus from Surat to Udaipur since there’s no direct train to Udaipur leaving on Tuesday (29 Dec.). The boarding point for the Shreenath Travelers bus is at the fruit market bus parking, how far is that from the railway station? Does anyone know of the condition of the bus whether it is comfortable because it is a non A/C sleeper bus?

I’m a theatre director and I’m looking for ideas on how to make the Headless Horseman’s head (a plastic pumpkin) fly across the stage without careening wildly into my actors or the audience. The distance to travel is about fourty feet and I’m considering some sort of rig using monofilament (fishing line to the rest of us). If you have an idea, let me know! I’ve tried the basic pendulum idea, and it really doesn’t look too hot to me.

A friend and I are going to Italy in May of next year and we wanted to get a flexi europass for the week we are there. So is it possible to get around with just public transportation. She is an “experienced” traveler, I on the other hand am not…but anyway. We are planning on going to Rome, Venice, Florence, and Pisa.

I’m currently couchsurfing with my girlfriend and one of her friends, and it’s so hard to find time to ourselves. We’ve done it in bathrooms and small hostel showers, but that’s a pain. Most of the time we’re in bed, there’s someone else in the room.

    Any ideas from experienced travelers?

I have many story ideas, like so many others, and am prepared to write them down. However, i know some of the ideas are cliche, and am wondering, will that affect my story?

For example, I’m obsessed with Demons and Angels. I want to use them in books. But aren’t they overused?
