I have just recently started ballet classes (23 years old) and we have started doing Soutenu turns. Can anyone explain to me a step by step guide of how you do one (just the feet) as i would like to practice a little for my next lesson and my feet just end up getting tangled up! We have been doing them travelling in a diagonal across the floor if that helps. Please explain in dummies terms as im not quite a pro on the ballet talk yet! 🙂
Thats great thank you! Just one more thing! When i step up onto demi-point and cross the left leg in front in 5th, am i turning on both feet or just one? if its both feet im confused as to how to turn them both at the same time in 5th? Sorry if this sounds a little silly but im really new to ballet!
