Before you head off on a trip, make copies of your most important documents. You want to have copies of your passport, insurance, and other vital documents. Put them in some safe place other than with you. Leave copies with someone you can trust in case you lose the ones you are taking with you.

Before you land at your destination, you should do some research on the local laws and customs. Actions that may be considered acceptable in your home town may turn out to be unacceptable or even illegal somewhere else. When you travel, you should try to be on your best behavior.

Find reviews online of any hotels or resorts that you are interested in, so that you are aware of issues prior to planning your trip. Doing this will prevent you from going to a bad hotel or resort, and make your overall travel more enjoyable.

When you are traveling, neatly roll your clothes instead of folding them. They will take up less space in your bag this way. If you want them folded, then simply refold them when you get to your destination. This should give you more baggage space, making it easier for you to bring less baggage on your trip.

You will pay more money for these projects that do not save you as much space as you think. Try to be more efficient in how you pack instead. This can free up some space for other things you will need.

Get a workout in before you get on the plane. Longer flights can be hard on your body. Your back and legs can start to cramp up after sitting for such a long time period. If you get a quick workout before boarding the flight, it can help to reduce the chance of getting leg cramps. If nothing else, try stretching a little.

Reading online reviews can help narrow down your search for the perfect resort or hotel, while also making you aware of what to expect. By avoiding places with bad reputations, you can avoid having a terrible experience on your trip.

If you arrive at your location before your baggage, don’t freak out. Visit the lost baggage office and present your flight documents to them. They can help to locate your luggage and get it to you. Usually your luggage will turn up, and you will be reconnected with it as soon as possible.

Many airports have added these to enhance waiting areas and provide a diversion and entertainment for young children while waiting for flights. You will be able to manage the delay much easier and have a happier traveling experience.

I will be going to Israel this summer and am hoping to head towards Europe afterwards. I am hoping to go by boat to Cyprus, Greece finally Italy, but I am having difficulty finding anything online. Is it unsafe to choose this method of travel? I don’t have much money as I am a student, so boat seems adventurous and cheap. I have good travel experience in SE Asia, so I am accustomed to the lifestyle. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks!

I have about 6 years airline/travel experience and would like to get back into the workforce part time from home to help with our income. I need to be flexible as I am a stay at home mom and my children come first. Any ideas of how to become a home based travel agent/coordinator from home? Not quite sure of how to get resources to begin this venture or how to get paid doing this. Any suggestions/advice.

I’m looking for tips on planning and executing a group travel experience to Las Vegas. I’ve been to Vegas a number of times and now planning travel for a large group (approx. 30 people) for my business. Just wondering if anyone has been on or planned a trip like this to Las Vegas, and if so, I hope you’ll share some tips with regard to what went well and what didn’t…and any other things I need to keep in mind while planning for a group so large. Thanks in advance!

I’m looking for a professional tour guide / operator that will meet me at the airport in Sydney, provide a top-notch 2-3 week travel experience within Australia (all expenses covered, luggage handled, hotels / planes / trains booked, etc). Any suggestions?

It’s going to be vacation time soon and most of us will be planning trips to different parts of the world. What have you learned from your previous travel experiences? Is it to remember to check all your documents and tickets? Is it to remember not to pack sharp objects? What do you ensure you do before you leave home and start the fun times?
